![]() ![]() ![]() The type of sidechaining for Lo Fi is pretty heavy, and it also has a long duration, so pretty much, as the kick hits, there is this long, drawn out type of vacuum in the rest of the music that encompasses the kick - especially in relation to the primary melody(ies). Pretty much all the sounds are sidechained in a very particular way to the kicks, sometimes with even a white noise / crackle added in the same channel as the kick, or elsewhere (that is not being sidechained). Not bad, but one of the main things that I think gives most Lo Fi the certain vibe that it has, is a very intense sidechain. ![]()
